an outpouring of vulnerability. catharsis. devotion. existence.

art should be seen and felt.

muses take form anywhere and everywhere.

art is born through my selfhood in time.

movement is the catalyst for truth and questioning.

i create to connect to myself and the universe

being a human before i am a dancer

Eliana LaBreche is a passionate dancer and creative. She began her training studying at the New England School of Dance in New Hampshire. Eliana received versatile training in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, tap, and hip hop. Her ballet training was exclusive to Royal Academy of Dance technique, where Eliana completed syllabus examinations from Intermediate Foundation to Advanced I. Eliana danced in competitions and conventions for the majority of her formative dance years, taking classes, performing, and traveling around the United States. Competitive dance has given her extensive performance experience and opportunities to work closely with reputable dancers and teachers, such as Christina Johnson and Scott Fowler. LaBreche worked closely with Peter Pawlyshyn for many years expanding her artistry as a performer, and exclusively in her performances of ballet works. She received the Choreographer of the Year award from New England School of Dance, and was given the opportunity to create and compete her first piece, Cage, which sparked her passion for choreography and creation. Eliana was offered a professional Company Apprentice position for the Nsquared Dance company in 2021, New Hampshire's premiere contemporary dance company. While part of Nsquared, she performed repertoire and premiered in an evening length work, The Shire, an exploration of the seven regions of the Granite State. While performing with the company, she performed at many local festivals, pride events and the Palace Theater, NH. LaBreche is currently studying at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, working to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in contemporary dance. There, she is studying under Kurt Douglas, Marcus Schulkind, Jim Viera, Ruka White, Brain McGinnis and many more esteemed dancers and educators. At the Conservatory, she is creating pieces of her own and has been honored to perform works by Andrea Miller, Andrew Skeels, Alissa Cardone, José Limón, Da’Rius Malone, Ebony Williams, and other conservatory students pieces. Eliana holds teaching experience at New England School of Dance as well as the Belvoir Dance summer program, where she stayed in the Berkshires of Maine for six weeks, teaching jazz and tap to 10-16 year olds. Eliana celebrates connecting to the community through creativity and dance, and creating art that reflects her passion and purpose in life.
